Karen has been providing the local area with accounting and tax services for over 25 years.
In 2018, she left her full-time accounting position in the entertainment industry in order to start her own company, and from there Portside Accounting began.
It is our vision to provide excellent services to small businesses, starting businesses, and people who can benefit from our expertise.

Karen is the owner of Portside Accounting. She has over 25 years of accounting and tax experience, she enjoys being able to share her knowledge, and to help others succeed! When she is not working, she is typically outdoors with her children and dogs, camping, or volunteering as a girl guide leader.

Jordan is an undergraduate Student at University of Victoria, BCom. Alongside his studies in accounting, Jordan has a history filled with digital marketing experience, which adds to his capabilities to further both our clients and the company.

Bookkeeper With a passion for precision and problem-solving, she is eager to apply her knowledge of various accounting software including Sage, QuickBooks, Excel, and many more.
